Hi, my name is Ashley Anthony and this is my twenty-third year teaching at Durant Elementary! I taught first grade for 15 years, kindergarten for 7 years and am excited to teach 5th Grade for the first time! I have wanted to be a teacher since I was 4 years old and LOVE living out my dream each day! I grew up in Raleigh and also attended Wake County Public Schools. I have one son, who is going into the 10th grade, and absolutely LOVE being a mom! We spend lots of time on the soccer field! My family and I are very close and I love spending time with them. I am an "auntie" to a niece and 2 nephews that I love to spoil!
I went to college at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill . Go HEELS! I love ALL things southern...monograms, college football, bows, seersucker, sweet tea... In my free time I enjoy working out, spending time at the pool, and going to the beach. I also love shopping! :) Some fun facts about me:
