In kindergarten, we believe it's important to set up a routine of connecting what we do at school with what we do at home. Each month, we will send home a homework packet for the month. Your child will complete an assignment each night and then return the packet at the end of the month. Copies of activities to complete will also come home with the assignment calendar. We also expect students to read on a nightly basis and study sight words. I will be sending home sight words on colored paper for your child to practice at home. Be on the lookout for the Sight Word Swamp letter that will be coming home for more details about these words. We will begin homework calendars with activities starting in September. Until then, please read to/with your child each night.
